Mytheresa US is a luxury online retailer known for its curated selection of designer fashion and accessories. The Personal Shopping and Client Relations Team plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for Mytheresa’s top clients, both internationally and locally. This team focuses on creating bespoke experiences, including exclusive trunk shows and personalized fashion edits, bridging the gap between online and offline shopping.
The Internship Opportunity
The Personal Shopping Intern will play a vital role in supporting the Personal Shopping team and ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for Mytheresa’s VIP clients. This internship is based in the company’s New York City office and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for:
• Supporting the Personal Shopping client journey:
• Ensuring an exceptional luxury shopping experience for top clients.
• Assisting with operational tasks such as adding reservations, processing orders, arranging pick-ups and returns, label creation, and managing hold and memo processes.
• Supporting the Personal Shoppers:
• Assisting with creating fashion edits and organizing outreach to clients.
• Providing administrative support.
• Participating in events, from set-up to breakdown.
• Managing appointments for clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Proactive and self-starter: A strong ability to identify opportunities and take initiative to assist Personal Shoppers in driving business.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail: Meticulousness and a keen eye for accuracy are crucial for handling operational tasks and client requests.
• Strong organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize efficiently, and maintain a clear workflow is essential.
• Strong computer skills: Proficiency in using digital tools and familiarity with online sales platforms is preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency: The ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities is necessary.
• In-office schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation:
The internship offers an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour.
