Job Description: Legal Trainee
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the legal department and specialist departments in handling legal issues and drafting contracts, particularly in the areas of:
• Development, production, and sales
• International purchasing
• General contract law
• Copyright law
• (Software) licensing law
• Data protection law
• Handling legal matters from various areas of civil and commercial law.
• Preparing internal memos, expert opinions, and decision papers.
• Assisting in drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Participating in internal and external meetings.
• Contributing to projects.
• Conducting research and preparing expert opinions.
• Independently carrying out advisory mandates.
Requirements:
• Completed first state examination in law.
• Ideally, initial experience and/or a strong interest in contract law, IT, and data protection law.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
Qualifications & Competences:
• Ability to understand, present, and solve complex economic and legal issues clearly and concisely.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and strong service orientation.
• Confident appearance, negotiation skills, and strong communication skills.
• Conscientiousness, loyalty, and discretion.
