Product Management Intern Job Description

This internship is a full-time, onsite opportunity located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Product Lifecycle Management: You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of a product, from identifying customer needs to determining the business model and defining detailed solution requirements.
• Client Focus: You will prioritize the needs of the client, working across different teams to build the best possible solutions.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: You will operate within a multidisciplinary team composed of individuals from design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and legal.
• Skill Development: You will gain experience in market research, competitive analysis, product planning, product development, and marketing.
• Market Performance Tracking: You will be responsible for tracking the performance of products in the market.
• Mentorship & Networking: You will work closely with experienced IBM product managers, designers, and engineers, who will mentor you and provide opportunities for networking across the business.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Basic knowledge of product management, product development, entrepreneurship, or related fields.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred:

• One year of experience in product management, product development, entrepreneurship, design thinking, market research, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, business analytics, or related fields.
