2025 L’Oréal USA Summer Internship Program – Research & Innovation – Undergraduate
This paid, 11-week summer internship program offers undergraduate students a comprehensive, immersive experience in the world of beauty. You’ll be fully integrated into a team’s day-to-day operations, taking on full-time employee responsibilities, and leading your own strategic project. Who they’re looking for:
• Minimum Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree (expected graduation between December 2025 – July 2026) in:
• Chemistry (Physical, Polymer, or Organic)
• Engineering (Chemical or Biomedical preferred)
• Biological Sciences
• Material Science
• Legally authorized to work full-time, permanently, and ongoing in the US without requiring sponsorship.
• Willing to relocate to the Research & Innovation offices in Clark, NJ for the internship program.
• Stand Out Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Available for the full 11-week summer internship in 2025.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, dynamic environment (previous internships, part-time work, etc.).
• Proven leadership skills and a passion for research through academics, extra-curriculars, or professional/volunteer work.
• Strong self-awareness of your own culture, identity, biases, prejudices, power, privilege, and stereotypes.
Skills for Success in Research & Innovation:
• Laboratory environment experience (internships, coursework, etc.).
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency, creativity, and flexibility.
Program Details:
• Compensation: Paid internship with hourly rates ranging from $24.00 – $28.50 for non-engineering students and $24.50 – $31.00 for engineering students (actual compensation based on job-related factors, location, and degree).
• Location: Clark, New Jersey.
• Housing: Housing assistance provided on an individual basis based on eligibility.
• Mentoring and Support: Interns are paired with mentors and buddies for guidance throughout the program.
