Job Description: Power Engineer, Staff
What We’re Doing: Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team designs their most advanced radar systems. They are looking for talented individuals with a passion for ground-based, ship-based, and airborne platform RADAR Technology to join their team. They provide RF designs for circuit board components, modules, radars, and radar systems, working in a totally integrated environment.
The Work: As the Power Engineer, Staff, you will:
• Provide technical leadership: Lead Radar programs in the area of power supply design and power subsystems.
• Research, design, and develop: Create Power circuits and systems used in Radar Applications.
• Execute all design stages: Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, common hardware solutions, quality of products, and proper engineering process and methodology.
• Communicate effectively: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead/interact with cross-functional teams.
• Interact with customers: Work directly with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues and program planning.
Who We Are Looking For:
You understand how the many different pieces of a system work together. This role involves collaborating with hundreds of people, processes, and systems. You’ll need to figure out how the ones that are relevant to your analysis fit together. A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience.
