Job Description
This Marketing Intern position at Chartwells Higher Education will involve working closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program at Post University. This is a dynamic internship offering hands-on experience and the opportunity to spearhead various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Marketing Research & Planning: Conduct research to understand the target market’s needs, participate in planning and brainstorming sessions, and develop marketing strategies.
• Promotions & Advertising: Help with promotions and advertising across various platforms (social media, website, signage, etc.).
• Event Management: Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting dining events at Post University.
• Social Media Management: Contribute to the development and execution of social media calendars, creating engaging content and managing online presence.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for the dining program at Post University.
• Marketing Audits & Analysis: Conduct audits and analyses to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks related to marketing.
• Project Management: Take ownership of projects and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge in customer service.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their use in marketing.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• General interest and knowledge in marketing.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
• Prior marketing experience is a plus.
• Experience with event planning and execution is beneficial.
