## Marketing Intern Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about marketing to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program at Drew University. This role is more than just your average internship. You will be taking the lead on various projects and have the opportunity to request assignments that expand your knowledge base.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Research: Understanding the needs of the target market to inform marketing strategies.
Planning & Brainstorming: Developing creative marketing ideas and campaigns.
Promotions & Advertising: Utilizing various platforms to promote the dining program (think social media, events, etc.).
Implementation: Bringing your marketing ideas to life.

You’ll also get to:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events.
• Support the “Dine on Campus” program.
• Contribute to social media calendar development and promotions.
• Act as a brand representative.
• Conduct marketing audits.
• Complete administrative tasks.
• Participate in Marketing Boot Camp.
• Survey students for marketing research.
• Create marketing materials.
• Manage signage.
• Assist in developing concepts, campaigns, and imagery for effective communication.
• Manage website and social media content.
• Attend meetings and events.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A general interest in marketing.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (a plus).
• Prior marketing experience (a plus).

This is a paid internship with a rate of $15.13 per hour. The schedule will be flexible based on your class schedule and our business needs.
