Job Description
This is a contract role for a Junior Data Entry/Analyst to help achieve key outcomes in data management and vendor coordination. The role is crucial in documenting data flow, ensuring data health, and maintaining robust relationships with business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document Data Sent to Vendors:
• Coordinate information gathering and facilitate data classification questionnaires.
• Document responses accurately and store them in the appropriate locations.
• Enter data into the Enterprise Data Catalog, combining existing data from the company’s SharePoint repository.
• Document Data Sources:
• Coordinate high-level data lineage conversations to understand where data is coming from.
• Enter the results into the Enterprise Data Catalog, ensuring comprehensive data documentation.
• Ensure Minimum Data Required is Sent:
• Document the purpose and frequency of data being sent to vendors.
• Verify that each data element shared with vendors has a valid business purpose at the column level.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data-sharing policies.
• ServiceNow Data Cleanup:
• Improve data health by ensuring the accuracy and detail of information in ServiceNow.
• Support informed business and risk decisions through accurate data documentation.
Key Qualifications:
• Strong and accurate data entry skills
• Ideally 6 months – 1 year+ of data analyst and data entry skills in a professional or internship setting
• Attention to Detail
• Clear Communication
• Education: HS Diploma Required, relevant work experience beyond the minimum required for the position can substitute for formal education.
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Broad understanding of various delivery methods (agile, waterfall, etc.) is preferred.
