Job Descriptions:
1. Software Engineer:
• Responsibilities: Software Engineers are responsible for the full lifecycle of application development, from design and development to testing and integration. This includes:
• Developing enhancements or resolving bugs in existing applications
• Creating new applications to replace older systems
• Working with ancillary technologies to ensure application integration and data integrity
• Collaborating with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams
• Working within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Typical Tech Stacks: Java, .Net Core/ASP.Net, UI Frameworks (ReactJS, Node.js, Angular JS, JQuery, Java Script), Spring Boot, GitHub, TDD/BDD, API, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, Cloud Technologies (PCF, Azure, Google)
2. Data Engineer:
• Responsibilities: Data Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses, analytics environments, and data pipelines. This includes:
• Creating reusable frameworks and leveraging design patterns across various data solutions
• Contributing to data integration, including data modeling, warehouse maintenance, and scripting for integration and analysis
• Building optimized and highly available data pipelines for deeper analysis and reporting
• Resolving moderately complex issues to meet data engineering deliverables
• Adhering to data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Typical Tech Stacks: Python, MongoDB, MySQL, SQL, AI/ML, Tableau/PowerBI
