Chief Financial Officer Group Overview:
The Finance Management Summer Analyst Program (FMAP) offers an opportunity to learn about Bank of America and its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group. This group plays a critical role in the overall financial management of the company, encompassing responsibilities like:
• Financial and regulatory reporting
• Balance sheet management
• Financial planning and analysis
• Treasury
• Investor relations
• Corporate investments
• Tax
Internship Overview:
The 10-week FMAP internship provides a comprehensive experience in financial and management accounting, corporate finance, strategic finance, and internal treasury functions. This program aims to:

A Day in the Life:
As an FMAP Summer Analyst, you’ll gain insights into the company’s financial management, vision, and culture. Typical responsibilities may include:
• Forecasting financial and non-financial trends.
• Developing models and performing financial analysis of business investments.
• Supporting the corporation’s internal planning and management accounting functions.
• Presenting financial data and analysis to business partners.
• Evaluating opportunities for process improvements across the CFO Group.
• Networking with finance executives and key stakeholders to build meaningful relationships across various lines of business.
Finance Management Opportunities:
FMAP interns are assigned to support one of the following teams within the CFO Group:
• CFO COO & Governance
• CFO Data Management
• Corporate Treasury
• Global Financial Control
• Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and International Finance
• Global Technology and Global Operations Finance
• Regional Banking & Wealth Management Finance
• Staff Support Finance
• Strategic Forecasting and Expense Management
Intern team assignments are based on business needs and aligned with individual skills, so they cannot be guaranteed.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated (4+1) degree program from an accredited college or university.
• Final graduation date between November 2025 and August 2026.
• Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Common areas of study include Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics, and other related majors.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, drive for operational excellence, and commitment to achieving sustainable results.
• Strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem solving & analytical skills, verbal and written communication, and professionalism.
