Software Engineering Internship:

This 10-week internship (with the option to extend) will provide you with hands-on experience building and developing our cutting-edge market data platform. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects across the stack, from frontend UIs to backend APIs, tailoring your experience to your specific interests and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of Databento’s core systems and features.
• Collaborate with our team of experienced engineers on challenging projects.
• Learn and apply software design patterns and best practices.
• Gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of fintech.

Qualifications:

• Experience with C++ or Python, ideally outside of the classroom.
• University-level coursework in computer science (e.g., operating systems, computer architecture, algorithms).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for working at a fast-growing fintech startup.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of market microstructure or market data.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
