They serve as a central hub for the creative production industries, offering a unique combination of hands-on technical training and direct connections to the local Crew and Creative communities.

Internship Description:

The Expressway Internship is an immersive experience offering opportunities in Camera, Lighting and Studio departments at their locations in Philadelphia, Rochester and Buffalo. As an intern, you will:

Gain hands-on technical training: Learn and operate advanced industry-standard technology, gaining valuable skills in your chosen department.
Work through various processes and roles: Experience different aspects of the rental house’s operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their workflow.
Connect with industry professionals: Build lasting relationships with local crew and creative professionals, expanding your network and gaining insights.
Progress tailored to your strengths: Your supervisor will monitor and evaluate your progress, crafting your experience to maximize your skills and development.
Potential for on-set experience: Depending on your qualifications, you may have the opportunity to gain experience on-set through their staffing services.

Qualifications:

• Basic proficiency with lighting and grip, or camera equipment offered at your college.
• Self-starter attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong customer support tendencies.

Internship Location and Schedule:

• Opportunities are available every semester at all locations.

• Operational hours are 9 AM – 6 PM.
• Total internship hours and scheduling will be based on your college’s program requirements for receiving credit.
