Web Design Intern Job Description:

OpportunityBlayzer is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join their team as a Web Design Intern. This is an unpaid internship requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the company’s growth by demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
• Work under the supervision of the Creative Director to complete assigned projects.
• Assist with the graphic design of sales materials and other promotional materials.
• Translate visual designs into completed HTML pages while adhering strictly to design specifications.
• Utilize exceptional graphics manipulation/optimization skills using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Desired Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a graphic design degree (preferred).
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously.
• Experience with media queries and responsive CSS, whether through hand coding or using responsive CSS frameworks like Twitter Bootstrap.
• Ability to ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot bugs.
• Experience working with CMS and e-commerce platforms like WordPress.
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud products, particularly Photoshop.
• Compelling portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects.
