Job Description – Summer Analyst, Corporate Banking & Global Credit

What’s the opportunity?

RBC Capital Markets is seeking high-performing college seniors to join their 10-week U.S. Summer Analyst Program within the Corporate Banking & Global Credit verticals.

What will you do?

Support 10+ Corporate Banking industry verticals: You’ll be involved throughout the entire credit origination, execution, and portfolio management cycle.
Due Diligence: Analyze company filings, financial statements, diligence reports, and equity/credit research. You’ll attend management presentations and diligence calls.
Credit Analysis: Assist with internal credit presentations and related documentation. This involves producing detailed written credit analyses and working with financial models to assess client creditworthiness.
Business Analysis: Analyze company business models, financial projections, deal structures, industry dynamics, and investment merits, collaborating with peers in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Risk Management, and other internal partners.
Support Senior Team: Contribute to ad-hoc and recurring initiatives like portfolio management, administration, reporting, pipeline management, budgeting, and special projects. Liaise with back and middle office functions to set up transactions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-haves:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• Graduation in Spring 2026 or December 2025.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in capital markets, finance, and banking.
• Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Nice-to-haves:

• Minimum of 1 relevant internship experience, preferably in financial services.
• Basic understanding of loan and capital markets products.
