Point72 Academy Summer Internship – Job Description

This 8-week summer internship, taking place from June to August 2025, is a unique opportunity for students graduating between December 2025 and July 2026 to kickstart their careers in the world of investing.

The program is a combination of classroom instruction, portfolio casework, and mentorship, designed to provide interns with insights into finance, research, and the workings of the public markets, preparing them for the full-time Academy Associate Program.

During the internship, you will:

Acquire fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to contribute as an analyst. You will learn alongside your peers, receiving training in accounting, modeling, presenting, and compliance.
Gain firsthand experience of the daily life of an equities analyst. You will collaborate with an investment team, gaining exposure to one of the sectors covered by their Portfolio Managers.
Delve deeper into data analysis and prepare a final pitch on an investment idea. You will work closely with Academy coaches to refine your analytical skills and present your findings.

Compensation: The US annual base salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000 (USD), prorated based on internship start and end date. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. Base salary for internships outside the United States will depend on local market compensation.
