Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space in White Sands Missile Range, NM, is searching for a full-time Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI. This role will involve supporting a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations. You must be willing to work rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• You’ll utilize your current engineering skills to support an important customer mission.
• You’ll receive extensive training through an education and certification program to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a science and technology related program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• US Citizenship is required due to the need for a government security clearance.
• Desired Skills:
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Self-initiated learner who works well in group settings.
• Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations.
• Familiarity with LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML.
• Understanding of software/hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.
Clearance Requirements:
• This position requires a government security clearance.
• You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• The required clearance level is TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Location:
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Work Schedule:
• This position involves a rotating 40-hour work week as assigned by the leader.
