Job Description:
KPMG is seeking an Advisory Seasonal Intern for their NY Lottery Team. This internship offers valuable experience within the gaming industry, providing exposure to the inner workings of the New York Lottery.
Responsibilities:
• Draw Observation: Attend assigned New York Lottery draws, documenting procedures performed using checklists.
• Integrity & Transparency: Contribute to ensuring the integrity and transparency of draw procedures.
• Business Issue Identification: Identify key business issues affecting the draw results.
• Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks to support the New York Lottery team.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Finance, Business, or an equivalent program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 or above.
• Ability to dedicate approximately 30-40 hours per month over an 18-24 month period.
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Resourceful and adaptable team player, dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for transportation.
Work Location:
• Work location may vary depending on business needs, including office, client sites, or virtual/remote work.
• Remote work requires being located within the U.S.
• Client site locations may necessitate travel and overnight/extended stays.
Visa Requirements:
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship. KPMG does not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
