Job Title: Intern

Department: Global Operations and Regulatory Compliance

Job Summary: This position provides support to the Global Operations and Regulatory Compliance team. The intern will be involved in operational, financial, and compliance processes, ensuring proper governance and adherence to both internal standards and external regulations. They will also conduct research, interpret data, and provide insightful information to management.

Responsibilities:

Audit Support: Collaborate with audit teams in planning and executing audits, including preparing audit plans, gathering and analyzing evidence, and documenting audit processes.
Process Flowcharting: Develop and utilize detailed process flowcharts to visually document and review workflows and systems, enhancing understanding and identifying key control points.
Internal Control Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and propose recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance process efficiency.
Audit Reporting: Prepare clear and concise audit reports to summarize findings and recommendations, presenting these findings to senior management to aid in decision-making.
Policy Review: Work closely with various departments to review policies and procedures, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate from Business, Finance, Accounting or a related program.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts (e.g., operating profit/loss, net income).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills.
• Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
