Job Summary Leads the development of the Integrated Resource Plans, which leads to potential capital generation investments in Indiana. Supports CPCN filings and other regulatory filings related to power generation to achieve CenterPoint Energy’s (CNP’s) strategies, goals, and objectives.  Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for external generation reporting/analysis and maintains positive relationships with regulatory bodies. CenterPoint Energy serves multiple jurisdictions including its fully integrated electric business in southwest Indiana. Qualified candidate must show an understanding of the electric utility business with a detailed knowledge of power generation resources and previous experience in developing Integrated Resource Plans. Serves as subject matter expert for MISO resource adequacy. 
Essential Functions
Manages and supports the Integrated Resource Planning process that sets the direction for CNP’s resource mix in Indiana, including extensive public stakeholder process.
Provide support, including testimony, for Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) filings with the IURC to acquire generating resources, including wind and solar.
Responsible for ten-year production forecasts for Power Generation Operations and provide monthly updates and adjustments to plan
Manages internal and external reporting and analysis for CNP’s generating resources, including IURC, NERC, MISO, EIA, MISO-OMS, AND SUFG.
Manages the planning and preparation of generation compliance filings, including rulemakings review and analysis related to resource planning, and maintains CenterPoint Energy’s compliance with MISO resource adequacy requirements.
Provides advice, counsel, and consultation on matters within area of responsibility that directly or indirectly impact CNP or its business environment. 
Acts as a spokesperson for CNP on resource planning issues before regulatory bodies and legislatures, and others.
Directs, develops, and supports assigned employees in the performance of their essential duties and responsibilities.
Manage requests to MISO (working with MISO IMM as needed) on resource adequacy, including the Planning Resource Auction, retirement of plants, transfer of interconnection, or new interconnection requests, as applicable.
