Job Summary: CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Supervisor Operations, Leak Detection to join their team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position involves supervising and directing the operation and maintenance of the distribution system in accordance with company policies and procedures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe and reliable energy delivery for customers while also developing and coaching the Field Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Observe, coach, and develop team members, fostering an environment that encourages individual and team performance. Conduct performance discussions and ensure compliance with all affirmative action policies and laws.
• Strategic Planning: Implement and monitor the Field Operation’s strategic plan, ensuring customer-driven, safe, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
• Collaboration: Participate in the development of department goals, budgets, and contract administration, aligning with company and corporate objectives.
• Operations Management: Coordinate fleet maintenance, manage material and equipment supplies, and cost-effectively manage activities to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Safety: Implement and administer policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and the public, including responding to emergencies and promoting safety awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in delivery and/or gas distribution or related field, with leadership experience preferred.
