As an Electrical Engineer at Cargill, you’ll be a vital part of their Starches, Sweeteners, and Texturizing Solutions division. You’ll work in a fast-paced, production environment within one of their many facilities across the United States. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and Managing: Working with production and maintenance employees, project teams, contractors, and technical operations teams to execute critical initiatives and projects.
• Technical Expertise: Focusing on the electrical power system equipment, implementing and managing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), applying Engineering Principles and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Project Execution: Leading the execution of Electrical Capital projects, including plant production expansions, electrical power equipment upgrades, power factor correction, and replacements of obsolete equipment with newer technology.
• Continuous Learning: Participating in a team-oriented, fast-paced learning environment, interacting with cross-functional groups, and gaining exposure to the plant’s Distributed Control System (DCS), automation, and process control instrumentation.
Cargill’s Starches, Sweeteners, and Texturizing Solutions Division
This division is a leading producer of fructose, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, sucrose, citric acid, specialty starches, and texturizing agents. These ingredients are used in a wide range of industries, including food, confectionary, brewing, and pharmaceuticals. Cargill also produces animal feed for a variety of species.
