Financial Analyst: A Key Role in Advanced Programs

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join its Advanced Programs team in Arlington, TX. This role is crucial in supporting the financial management of complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource utilization.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in:

Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and tracking budgets, forecasting manpower needs, and performing Earned Value computations for various funding sources.
Program Cost Management: Establishing and managing program cost baselines, conducting Earned Value analysis, and performing variance analysis using specialized tools like EFS and SAP.
Estimate at Complete (EAC) Analysis: Performing comprehensive EAC analyses and preparing reports with recommendations for leadership.
Proposal Preparation and Staffing: Contributing to proposal development and supporting staffing needs for various programs.

This position demands a strong understanding of financial principles and experience in managing complex projects. You will work collaboratively with program managers and other stakeholders to ensure the financial health of critical programs.

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills: Experience in DoD or Aerospace industries, Earned Value Management (EVM) experience, proficiency with cost tools like SAP and EFS, familiarity with LM Program Performance Management Process (PPMP), strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and intermediate knowledge of Tableau and advanced Excel functions.

This position requires a government security clearance, making U.S. citizenship a prerequisite for consideration.
