Job Description

Research Scientist II – PCR/qPCR/dPCR Development

The Research Scientist II – PCR/qPCR/dPCR Development will play a key role in the development and optimization of PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assays and technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, PCR chemistry, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assays for a variety of applications
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of new assays and technologies
• Troubleshoot assay development and optimization issues
• Analyze data and prepare reports on assay performance
• Collaborate with other R&D scientists and engineers
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in PCR, qPCR, and dPCR technologies

Qualifications:

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assay development and optimization
• Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, PCR chemistry, and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
