Job Description: Early Career Software Engineer
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will:
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Support design and create software solutions based on limited information on rapidly evolving projects.
• Clearly communicate and share design decisions with the team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (other engineering degrees considered with significant engineering software development experience).
• Experience with a programming language such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.

• Agile Software Development (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Agile Process Tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Software Development Tools (e.g., Visual Studio)
• Software Configuration Management (e.g., git, bitbucket)
• Software and systems design and integration

This position requires a government security clearance, and candidates must be US Citizens. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin offers flexible work schedules, including a 4×10 hour day with 3 days off per week.
