Job Description

Associate Scientist I, Translational Research

Location: Hercules, CA

Job Summary:

The Associate Scientist I, Translational Research will join a dynamic and collaborative team focused on developing and validating novel immuno-oncology biomarkers. The successful candidate will have experience in preclinical animal models of cancer, flow cytometry, and multiplex immunohistochemistry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct preclinical animal studies to evaluate the efficacy of novel immuno-oncology therapeutics
• Develop and validate flow cytometry and multiplex immunohistochemistry assays to measure immune cell populations and activation markers
• Analyze and interpret data from preclinical studies to identify potential biomarkers of therapeutic efficacy
• Collaborate with scientists across multiple disciplines to develop and implement translational research programs
• Prepare and present scientific data at conferences and meetings

Qualifications:

• PhD in immunology, cancer biology, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in preclinical animal models of cancer
• Strong experience in flow cytometry and multiplex immunohistochemistry
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and presentation skills
