Job Description
Lead Front Office Coordinator, Internal Medicine
Job Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, the Lead Front Office Coordinator plans, assigns, and directs a front office staff in the daily operation of a large physician practice. This role requires significant judgment in the application of established practice rules and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Patient registration
• Scheduling
• Insurance information collection
• Telephone management
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of front office or related experience required.
• OR
• Associates degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field and three (3) years of front office or related experience required.
Minimum Experience Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of front office or related experience required.

• Associates degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field and three (3) years of front office or related experience required.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
• None
Additional Qualifications:
• Must possess above average data entry skills.
