Job Description

Love’s is seeking a Logistics Coordinator I to communicate with Gemini Truck Drivers who are delivering fuel to Love’s stores. The ideal candidate will have experience in fuel dispatch, transportation industry, logistics, or supply chain.

Major Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot logistics, inventory management, and supply chain related problems
• Handle incoming chat messages, emails, and calls from truck drivers
• Assist drivers with questions about their schedules and update the fuel dispatch software as needed
• Forecast truck stop fuel demand using inventory replenishment/dispatch software (TelaPoint)
• Provide quality customer service to stores and drivers
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Meet departmental standards regarding communication metrics

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in Fuel Dispatch, Transportation Industry, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred

Skills

• Capable of managing 200+ emails per shift
• Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to problem solve
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be highly organized
• Willingness/ability to accept continual training and constructive criticism
• Basic Microsoft Windows / Office experience

Typical Physical Demands

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision
