Job Description
CenterPoint Energy is seeking an HVAC Service Technician Intern to join their team in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The intern will perform inspections, cleaning, and maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. The intern will also assist in selling Home Service Plus products and services to customers.
Responsibilities
• Perform inspections and cleaning of gas and electric HVAC equipment
• Perform ductwork inspection, cleaning, and decontamination
• Operate and maintain company vehicle safely
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Complete record-keeping functions
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries
• Promote and sell Home Service Plus products and services
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a 1-year program in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning
• No prior work experience required
