Job Description
Sanford Medical Genetics and Biorepository is seeking a dynamic intern to join its team for summer projects. The intern will assist with a variety of tasks, including:
• Requisition and duplicate request entry for samples
• Storage of FFPE (formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue) into BSI
• Performing audits on biorepository specimens
• Performing maintenance and inventory for both labs
The intern will work collaboratively with organization leadership and attend training and development opportunities to learn about various processes and functions within the organization.
Qualifications
• Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
