About the Job:
Lockheed Martin is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled DevOps Assistant to join its team in Syracuse, NY. As a member of the team, you will:
• Provide DevOps assistance to stand-up and maintain integrated software environments
• Use your knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft products to support software development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with lead engineers to advance development environments that enable Anti-Submarine Warfare systems vital to national defense
• Develop and refine your skills in computer systems, hardware, software, and networking
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to solve complex technical challenges
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
• Strong working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft products
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices is highly preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn a variety of new skills and tools
• US Citizenship is required as the position requires a government security clearance
