This position focuses on the HIMARS program and requires an individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Monitoring program schedules to ensure orders are placed into production to meet needs
• Creating and monitoring reports for the program
• Coordinating material needs with expediters and purchasing departments
• Investigating inventory discrepancies and advising product management of material availability and potential production problems
• Confirming material supply and demand, coordinating interdepartmental activity between warehouses, and expediting stock transports
• Assisting management in resolving issues related to overshipments, shortages, engineering changes, and traceability
• Maintaining MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinating with Engineering and Change Board Representatives to make associated changes to the Bill of Material (BOM)
