What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Services: Prepare federal and state tax returns for clients.
• Tax Research: Research relevant tax issues and communicate their impact on clients’ businesses.
• Tax Planning: Prepare year-end tax projections and learn to develop and deliver tax planning strategies.
• Assurance Engagements: Assist in planning assurance engagements and preparing financial statements.
• Client Resolution: Identify and assist in the resolution of client issues related to financial reporting matters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting, demonstrating solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study.
• Experience: No specific years required; relevant internship or work experience is helpful, but not a mandatory prerequisite for this associate-level position.
• Skills: Possess technical accounting knowledge, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, the ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently, and effective time management skills.
• Bonus: Relevant internship or prior work experience in accounting or finance.
