What You’ll Actually Do
• Close Processes: Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly and quarterly close processes.
• General Ledger: Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
• Policies & Procedures: Assist in implementing and documenting accounting policies and procedures.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including legal, HR, R&D, and operations, to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Big 4 experience, seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller level role.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards, and specific experience within the tech industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Bonus: Experience in a multinational environment and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
