The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Phoenix, AZ or restaurant locations

• Team: Integral part of the accounting team, initially supporting a single restaurant location.
• Mission: To ensure precise financial management through diligent review of ledgers and transactions, proactive invoice management, and comprehensive administrative oversight for restaurant operations, aiming to scale support across multiple locations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Review: Systematically review the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and journal entries.
• Month-End Activity: Manage and review all aspects of month-end closing procedures for the assigned location.
• Invoice Management: Handle and manage invoices along with all related financial statements for the restaurant.
• Administrative Oversight: Provide comprehensive administrative oversight for the accounting functions of an individual restaurant.
• Project Support: Support various special projects initiated by the accounting team as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to taking ownership of projects and tasks, seeing them through to completion with diligence.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are strictly required. A proactive, self-directed approach combined with a strong sense of accountability is essential for this role.
• Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Must exhibit professionalism and a team-oriented approach.
• Bonus: Previous restaurant or accounting experience is preferred, though not required. Progress toward or completion of a degree is also preferred.
