What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver a unified API and developer platform for Zscaler products.
• Ensure standardization, governance, and a seamless developer experience across the platform.
• Create and refine API development and integration processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Lead the creation of a scalable, distributed API platform.
• Ensure the API platform is highly available, observable, and operable.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior Staff level with a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience optimizing outcomes with AI-driven solutions.
• Experience: 10+ years in architecture, design, and development of API frameworks and technologies, including creating SDKs and designing APIs following API-first principles.
• Skills: Solid background in message brokers, caches, queues, and pub/sub concepts; proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Java, C++, Rust, or Javascript.
• Bonus: Experience implementing AIOps, AI-driven predictive scaling, or automated anomaly detection; demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers on external-facing products and roadmap development.
