The Tone:
This is an internship at KWC CPAs, located in Richmond, VA. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in public accounting. You will work alongside experienced professionals and support client engagements, contributing to meaningful work within a close-knit, local firm culture.

• Mission: Support client engagements and contribute to providing tax, audit, and advisory services within a public accounting firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Participate in structured training combined with practical, hands-on client work.
• Expose: Gain exposure to tax, audit, and advisory services across various industries.
• Collaborate: Work alongside experienced professionals, receiving guidance from a dedicated mentor, peer buddy, and supervisor.
• Grow: Engage in regular check-ins designed to support your learning and professional development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Students actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: No specific prior years of experience required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and organizational capabilities. A positive, professional, and collaborative attitude. Ability to work Tuesday–Thursday for 24 hours per week throughout the internship duration.
• Bonus: A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
