What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to support monthly financial statements and analysis.
• Report Generation: Generate reports for month-end and quarter-end financial reporting cycles.
• Asset Review: Complete the annual asset review process.
• Regulatory Assistance: Assist in the preparation of insurance industry regulatory reporting and with financial examinations and audits.
• Process Improvement: Implement process improvements and participate in the development of essential internal control policies, procedures, and practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum three years of college education, actively working toward a degree in Accounting or Business with an Accounting emphasis. Completion of the Intermediate Accounting sequence or its equivalent is required.
• Experience: Candidates should ideally be one year from graduation. A minimum overall GPA of 3.2 and an Accounting GPA of 3.4 are mandatory.
• Skills: Required skills include an intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Excel and a strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications. Candidates must possess the ability to think analytically and make sound judgments from analysis, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. U.S. work authorization is also required.
