Accounting Intern – Student Worker – University of Alabama – Retail | Aramark

• Mission: This role supports the District’s financial operations through detailed accounting tasks, analytical reporting, and system audits, while also contributing to site cleanliness and maintenance to ensure customer and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze all aspects of finance, including budgeting and reporting, to provide foundational financial insights.
• Assist with core accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, contributing to accurate financial record-keeping.
• Coordinate audits of location financial systems, such as BirchStreet, Prima, and Kronos, to ensure operational compliance and data integrity.
• Support the preparation of monthly credit card reconciliations, and provide essential analytical support to the District, which includes preparing custom reports for monthly financial reviews and working on various special projects as needed.
• Clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet specific customer and client satisfaction standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull greater than 50 lbs; proficiency in following basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
