The TL;DR

• Mission: To provide essential accounting, payroll, and tax services that support the financial health and compliance of clients across various sectors.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Office products

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payroll Management: Process payroll for clients and accurately prepare their corresponding payroll tax forms.
• Software Utilization: Understand and effectively operate client accounting software, including QuickBooks and Peachtree.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare necessary workpapers, reconcile various accounts, and compile comprehensive financial statements for clients.
• Tax Audit Oversight: Oversee payroll and sales tax audits, diligently responding to all related tax notices on behalf of clients.
• Tax Service Support: Assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns as part of broader tax services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early-career professional with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and/or general accounting practices.
• Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Bonus: 0-3 years of experience specifically within a public accounting firm is preferred.
