What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise clients: Autonomously advise clients from the Financial Service Industries (FSI) on optimizing their accounting and controlling standards and further developing their steering processes.
• Lead projects: Take a significant role in implementing accounting standards, developing individual concepts, and leading strategic transformation projects.
• Drive innovation: Actively drive the development and introduction of innovative methods and tools, including the use of artificial intelligence.
• Lead teams: Take responsibility for project teams, foster their development, and actively shape transformation in the Financial Services environment.
• Serve as expert: Act as a recognized point of contact for technical topics, representing Deloitte externally and serving as a central internal contact for accounting and controlling issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in Accounting, Controlling, or Finance, ideally within consulting or at a financial institution such as a bank, insurance company, or FinTech; includes demonstrated leadership experience.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of Accounting, Controlling, and overall bank management; enthusiasm for new technologies like Data Science, AI, or Big Data and their application in bank management and accounting; a solution-oriented approach with the ability to inspire others and implement ideas; willingness to travel; and excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
