The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at Parker Hannifin, located in Northeast Ohio (Akron, Elyria, Mayfield Heights, Mentor, Ravenna, or Wickliffe). Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader, designs and manufactures motion and control technologies that enable engineering breakthroughs across various industries. This internship is designed to develop new talent, offering valuable real-world experience in corporate and manufacturing accounting or economic research, preparing candidates for future leadership roles within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to corporate and manufacturing accounting projects, gaining insight into industry challenges and opportunities.
• Assist in conducting economic research and data analysis to support various company projects and initiatives.
• Gather economic data from multiple sources to inform research findings and insights.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings for internal stakeholders.
• Work towards specific, meaningful, and measurable goals set for the internship period.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States, majoring in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience: Commitment to work in-office 40 hours per week during Summer 2027; no prior professional experience explicitly required.
• Skills: Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work effectively with others as a participative team member.
