The Tone:
This is a 12-month rotational program for recent graduates at Butterball, with primary locations in Mount Olive, NC, Garner, NC, and Huntsville, AR. Butterball is the most recognized name in turkey, a company that has existed for over 60 years to help people pass love on, providing quality, great-tasting products. This role is crucial for developing the next generation of manufacturing and operations leaders, preparing participants for a successful career, and making an impact on the health of others daily.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotation: Explore every area of the business, rotating through multiple departments and business functions to gain a broad understanding of Butterball’s operations.
• Relationship Building: Build relationships with leaders and team members across the company through rotational experiences, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities.
• Leadership Development: Learn how leaders across the organization drive results and develop your own leadership style through structured sessions and observation.
• Skill Application: Learn and apply company standards related to safety, animal welfare, food quality, environmental compliance, and team member engagement.
• Project Completion: Complete meaningful assignments and experiences that strengthen leadership, business acumen, communication, and decision-making skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Agriculture, Business, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field, with expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership, internship, co-op, campus involvement, work experience, or other developmental experiences.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, adaptability in new environments, ability to work effectively in a team, and a curious, inquisitive, and eager-to-learn mindset.
• Bonus: Experience in agriculture, poultry, food manufacturing, operations, or a related industry.
