• Team: Reports directly to a partner, manager, or supervisor as assigned.
• Mission: To provide accurate tax accounting support, learn tax regulations, and contribute to client engagements under supervision.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare accurate work papers for tax engagements under direct supervision.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Learn and uphold the Firm’s expectations for work quality, professional development, and the Firm’s cultural and core values.
• Follow the progress of engagements and help to identify and research issues as assigned.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and ongoing education opportunities, including CPE development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with no less than a 3.0 GPA, designed for a recent graduate or early-career professional.
• Experience: Basic accounting and auditing skills, coupled with working knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and other professional standards and regulations.
• Skills: The ability to make sound decisions under pressure, solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization, and strong interpersonal and business communication skills (verbal and written).
• Bonus: CPA or actively pursuing a CPA designation, a Master’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or one or more directly related years of experience in public accounting.
