Part Time Audit Intern (Immediate Need) | MVB Bank
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at MVB Bank, located remotely, with candidates required to reside in specific states. MVB Bank is a financial holding company that provides services to individuals and corporate clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as to Fintech, Payment, and Gaming clients throughout the United States. This role offers a highly motivated Internal Audit intern the opportunity to support basic finance and financial reporting, special projects, and initiatives. It is designed to build real-world experience while applying learned Accounting principles within a supportive and values-driven culture.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Accept and lead designated Audit and SOX related projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project(s) during the internship.
• Daily Engagement: Engage with the internal audit department to carry out day-to-day responsibilities.
• Process Improvement: Provide suggestions to management for improving service and/or internal processes.
• System Proficiency: Learn and become proficient on internal software systems.
• Company Understanding: Gain exposure and opportunity to understand the overall concept of the company, including the business model, customer, and goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior or Senior year undergraduate student with a focus in Accounting. Entry-level career level.
• Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, excellent written communication skills, solid organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Bonus: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment; demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
