Audit Spring Internship 2027 | Withum

The Tone:
This is an internship at Withum, located in one of their office locations, with varying part-time to full-time hours. This role provides valuable hands-on experience by supporting the auditing team, connecting interns with diverse professionals, and exposing them to key accounting and auditing principles.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time to Full-time
• Location: In-person at one of Withum’s office locations
• Pay: $25–$38 hourly
• Mission: Support the auditing team through financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks to gain practical experience in accounting and auditing, with exposure to internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements.
• Evaluation: Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with auditing standards through inquiry, observation, and review.
• Documentation: Assist in preparing detailed workpapers supporting audit procedures.
• Testing: Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
• Engagement: Assist with client engagements and other assigned projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior Accounting Major, Business-related Major, or an MBA Candidate in an Accounting track program.
• Experience: Ability to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week from January to April. Must be able to commute to one of Withum’s office locations.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
