Investment Banking Internship – Pool Team | UBS
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at UBS, located in São Paulo, Brazil. UBS is a leading global wealth manager and the premier universal bank in Switzerland, also providing diversified asset management solutions and focused investment banking capabilities. This role offers students firsthand experience and the opportunity to build a career in Investment Banking, gaining broad exposure to M&A and ECM advisory, financial modeling, and strategic discussions across various sectors.

• Location: In-person – São Paulo, Brazil
• Team: Global Banking team based in São Paulo at UBS BB, a Joint Venture between UBS and Banco do Brasil.
• Mission: This person will support the Global Banking team in M&A and ECM execution, research, financial modeling, and presentation development to facilitate strategic discussions and project delivery.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support the team in the execution of M&A and ECM transactions.
• Research: Conduct sector-specific research and analysis.
• Modeling: Support analysts in the development of financial models.
• Presentation: Assist in creating presentations related to projects and pitchbooks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Students currently pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or Economics, with an anticipated graduation date by July 2028.
• Experience: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced or fluent English communication skills. Availability to work on-site in São Paulo. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Bonus: Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance. Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflows, with sound judgment, validating outputs, and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
