What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise: Collaborate with business functions like Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and Finance to determine potential revenue outcomes for business proposals.
• Lead: Deliver expert technical accounting guidance and support for the Revenue Accounting Team.
• Develop: Maintain and continuously evaluate the team’s accounting policies and positions in alignment with evolving business needs.
• Drive: Spearhead internal, continuous improvement initiatives for the Revenue Team and substantiate accounting conventions.
• Support: Collaborate with the broader Revenue Accounting Team on month-end close and deal review activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. This is a Senior Manager level role.
• Experience: 10+ years of related accounting experience, including 5+ years from a Big 4 firm and management. Proven experience researching technical accounting guidance and authoring technical accounting positions.
• Skills: Strong technical accounting expertise, effective communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes inherent in a high-growth environment.
• Bonus: CPA license, experience in the SaaS/Technology industry, and familiarity with the Workday platform.
