Accounting Summer Intern | Arch Re
The Tone:
This is an internship at Arch Re, located in Morristown, NJ. Arch Re is a reinsurance company that cultivates a culture of collaboration, expertise, and innovation to promote progress and inspire its stakeholders to achieve their greatest potential. This 8-week program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry, exploring career choices and developing professional skills. Working alongside talented professionals, interns will gain relevant expertise and receive ongoing feedback.

• Mission: This person will gain exposure to reinsurance and corporate accounting, developing an understanding of industry practices and contributing to team initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain Exposure: Gain exposure to reinsurance and corporate accounting through educational sessions and practical learning experiences.
• Complete Projects: Complete hands-on training and individual project work with guidance from team members.
• Learn Systems: Learn key accounting systems, processes, and best practices used across the organization.
• Assist with Tasks: Assist with research and accounting-related tasks to develop an understanding of reinsurance accounting.
• Collaborate on Initiatives: Collaborate with fellow interns on team initiatives and a final capstone project.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively completing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related program. Current Sophomore student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2028 – May 2029. Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Experience: Microsoft Office, including Excel, experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, deliver results, work independently, and deal effectively with multiple tasks and priorities.
• Bonus: Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner and a team player who collaborates effectively.
