What You’ll Actually Do
• Build relationships with clients and internal team members.
• Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
• Draft financial statements in adherence to prescribed formatting.
• Prepare components of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
• Utilize and gain proficiency in microcomputer applications relevant to the role.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of at least 75% of a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university; demonstrated progress towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Experience: This is an entry-level internship designed to provide initial exposure to public accounting and audit projects.
• Skills: Good communication skills; strong computer proficiency; ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment; customer-focused approach; capability to manage multiple tasks; willingness to travel locally 80%+ of the time with personal access to a car or public transportation; ability to commit a minimum of 37.5 hours per week from early January through mid-April.
