The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at Westinghouse Electric Company, located in Cranberry Township, PA, offering a hybrid work arrangement. As an Internal Auditor intern, you will play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the Global Internal Audit department, directly contributing to improving its processes and participating in critical financial and operational audits and advisory reviews.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit: Perform internal financial and operational audits and advisory reviews.
• Evaluate: Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Document: Gather and prepare audit documentation to support conclusions reached.
• Report: Draft reports related to audit results and recommend changes in financial and operational processes, presenting them to audit leadership.
• Analyze: Help with the data analytics program by developing queries and reviewing output.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level; pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: Completed junior year of college.
• Skills: Internal audit principles, financial analysis, operational review, internal controls assessment, audit documentation, report writing, data analytics.
